Mentorship Program

A supportive structure for AAHE members to build collegial relationships, encourage career development, and exchange field knowledge across campuses.

Established in 2021

Mentorship rooted in exchange, reflection, and professional connection.

Established in 2021, the AAHE Mentorship Program brings together arts administrators with diverse levels of experience to support each other, encourage career development, create connections across and beyond AAHE membership, and professionalize the field of arts administration.

AAHE members who apply to serve as mentors or mentees are matched with a colleague from another campus based on their needs, interests, and experience.

Pairs connect monthly to discuss issues in arts administration and higher education, including programming, artist commissions, marketing, fundraising, faculty collaboration, community partnerships, student engagement, anti-racism and DEI issues, professional development, and more.
