Small peer groups where AAHE members connect with colleagues at similar self-identified career stages.

Career-stage connection

Space for shared questions, career paths, and practical support.

AAHE Career Groups are opportunities for members to connect with others in a similar, self-identified career stage: Emerging, Mid-Career, or Advanced.

Groups meet based on member availability, and conversations are open-form and tailored to individual needs and topic areas of interest.

The goal of these groups is to create connection among administrators and make space for sharing around career paths, challenges, opportunities, and shared experiences.

Emerging

For members newer to arts administration or newer to their current role, campus context, or area of responsibility.

Mid-Career

For members building leadership capacity, managing evolving responsibilities, and navigating institutional change.

Advanced

For senior or long-serving administrators seeking peer reflection, strategy exchange, and collegial connection.
